Virtual Communities

Can't wait for August to meet your new neighbors and friends? We'll help you get started. Soon after receiving your housing assignment, you will be invited to join your Virtual Floor Community on Facebook by your Resident Assistant (RA) or your Resident Director (RD). Whether you're a Facebook veteran or checking it out for the first time, this group will give you the opportunity to get to know the other students living on your floor before you arrive at Pitt. Your RA will also be able to answer your questions about moving in, life on campus, and any other last-minute concerns. For commuter students, you will be invited to join your Virtual Community by a Commuter Assistant (CA), and will have the chance to meet other first-year students who are commuting to Pitt.
