An Exciting First Semester

Welcome to the University of Pittsburgh. New Student Orientation includes a variety of programs and events that will help you become comfortable in your new home and get connected to the University. It's a great opportunity to meet other students, staff, and faculty, and learn about campus resources, services, and Pitt traditions.

What to Expect

New Student Orientation is a six-day program that will begin on Tuesday, August 21 and end on Sunday, August 26, 2012. It will include over 100 social and informational programs for both students and parents. We are hoping to become more green this year and will not be distributing paper copies of our orientation schedule in the mail thia summer, but we have posted it HERE on our website in both interactive catalogue, and regular PDF formats.

Extended Orientation

Extended Orientation consists of four Required sessions that will cover important topics to help get you off to a good start here at the University of Pittsburgh. Check out THIS FLYER for more information!
