The Outside the Classroom Curriculum (OCC) empowers students to maximize their Pitt experience and gain a competitive edge in today's global society. The OCC is a University-wide initiative designed to educate the whole student through the completion of a series of programs, activities, and experiences that complement each student's academic studies. The curriculum engages students as they grow in nine key areas each year, while they progressively complete a host of learning experiences outside the classroom.
