The Outside the Classroom Curriculum (OCC) empowers students to maximize their Pitt experience and gain a competitive edge in today's global society. The OCC is a University-wide initiative designed to educate the whole student through the completion of a series of programs, activities, and experiences that complement each student's academic studies. The curriculum engages students as they grow in nine key areas each year, while they progressively complete a host of learning experiences outside the classroom. You will learn more about this program during New Student Orientation.

To register for the OCC log on to and click on the Outside the Classroom Curriculum tab.
