First Year Cup

The programs do not stop after New Student Orientation—that's just the beginning! The First Year Cup (FYCup) is a friendly competition that allows first-year students to compete in residence hall and commuter teams based on attendance at selected programs. Each semester, Pitt holds 12-15 educational and social FYCup programs (see schedule here). At the end of each semester, the group with the highest percentage of attendance is awarded the sacred FYCup Trophy. In addition, you can receive Outside the Classroom Curriculum at every FYCup program. Look for the FYCup Kickoff event during New Student Orientation.
