Faculty Associates

As part of the larger First Year Experience program, some of our first-year residence-hall floors will have the unique opportunity to get to know a Pitt faculty member outside of the classroom.

On our Faculty Associates floors, Resident Assistants plan such programs as pizza parties, bowling, movie outings, ice skating, and local performing-arts events, and invite the faculty member to join in with students from the floor.

For those students who live on a Faculty Associates floor, this is one more opportunity to get involved in the Pitt community and build a relationship with a faculty member outside of your own classes. Check with your RA to see if your floor has a Faculty Associate.
