Program In a Box

Program in a Box!

Program in a Box is a service offered out of the First-Year Experience Office for student leaders responsible for programming geared toward first-year students.  This can include Resident Assistants, Commuter Assistants, and leaders of student organizations like school-sponsored clubs and Greek organizations.

The programs included are designed to be conversation-starters that are fun and simple to conduct.  Students who lead the activities will gain experience in facilitating and leading discussion while being guided by detailed facilitation guides.  Participants will benefit not only by learning valuable life skills while having fun, but also by earning credit toward the Outside the Classroom Curriculum.

Boxes come complete with facilitation guides, all materials needed for the program, sources of further information and services related to the purpose of the activity, and contact information for the First-Year Experience Office in case facilitators need any additional help in preparing for the program.
